A Regional Victoria start, a radio career, international travels and digital media… the story about our company is an interesting one…
About Turbo Productions
Once upon a time in 1999, CE Network was born out of a hobby, or as we like to say, a wild obsession. Our Managing Director, James Anderson, dove headfirst into this passion project. What started with the creation of LakeEildon.com, the ultimate tourism hotspot for Lake Eildon, soon turned into a full-blown gig. But why stop there?
We quickly became the go-to pros for local website design and hosting, making small businesses look big and bold online. Meanwhile, James was moonlighting as a radio star, spinning tracks and cracking jokes at Sun FM on Mt. Buller, before jumping to the big leagues at Triple M Melbourne and Sydney. Radio, though? Child’s play. He soon became “Turbo” – the name you couldn’t avoid hearing, especially if you were at the Coca-Cola Live and Local Tour or jamming out at M-One Music Concert in Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium.
Fast forward to 2006, James was done with radio rankings (after nailing that #1 spot, of course) and switched gears to chase his other love—video production. And where did he land? Oh, just managing video for the International Olympic Gymnastics Training Centre in the USA, no big deal.
From there, Turbo’s globe-trotting adventure continued—Russia, South America, Panama, Alaska—oh, and running the entertainment scene aboard the Celebrity Cruise Lines ‘Infinity’ ship. Not a bad gig, eh?
By 2009, Turbo was back in Melbourne and ready to take the photography and video production world by storm. That’s when CE Network morphed into the Turbo Productions you know and love today, adding virtual tours, live streaming, and every shiny new video trend you can think of to our list of services.
Now, Turbo Productions is a digital media powerhouse across Australia and New Zealand, with a network of production pros that’ll turn your event, or special day into pure cinematic magic. Ready to turn your moments into masterpieces? We’re the crew for the job.
